SAN ANTONIO SPORTS HALL OF FAME
 Since its inception in 1995, the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame has inducted 84 local men and women who have made an impact in the world of sports, either through outstanding athletic achievements or outstanding contributions to athletic programs. Each year, the new class is officially inducted at the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame Tribute, presented by AT&T, and bronze plaques commemorating this great recognition hang in the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame on the south plaza level of the Alamodome.
San Antonio Sports further salutes the Hall of Fame and its members at its annual San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame Golf & Tennis Classic, taking place this year on Monday, October 17, at the beautiful Dominion Country Club. Hall of Fame members play in the tournaments and are honored guests at the afternoon awards ceremony and reception.

Whether swinging a golf club or a tennis racquet, participants in the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame Golf & Tennis Classic are scoring big for the youth programs of San Antonio Sports, a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization.
Year ‘round, our kids programs deliver sports and fitness opportunities to thousands of children in every part of our community. We’re fighting childhood obesity in 262 local elementary schools with our School Rock Challenge and Valero Go!Kids Challenge™. Our Dreams for Youth Athlete and Wellness Development Program introduces U.I.L. sport fundamentals after school to inner-city children via coaching and equipment. The Fit Family Challenge expands our kids’ fitness efforts with a fun, incentivized four-month, county-wide program for the whole family.
It’s our goal to Keep San Antonio Moving and our mission to transform our community through the power of sport. Thank you for helping us to change the lives of children and families in San Antonio.
