2007 SUMMER FENCING CAMPS
The San Antonio Sports Foundation Training Center is
offering three camps in various weapon specialties (FOIL or SABER). Summer fencing camps are open to beginner and
intermediate fencers. Fencers will be
divided into groups depending on their age and skill
levels. Classes are limited to a minimum of 5 partipants to make the class and a maximum of 15 participants.
Pre-register to reserve your space. To pre-register,
fill out and mail the attached form along with a
$75.00 non-refundable deposit. The balance will be due
upon arrival at the camp.

EQUIPMENT:
All equipment will be provided for beginner fencers.
Intermediate and advanced fencers should bring their
own equipment.

TIME FORMAT:
Fencing camps sessions will begin each morning at 9:00
a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. There will be a snack break
from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Camp participants should
bring their own drinks, snacks/ lunches.
PROGRAM ACTIVITIES:
Daily training and individual instruction at each fencing
camp will be geared to help the fencer strengthen fundamentals
and tactical skills.

· Group Footwork and Drills
· Group plastron drills
· Tactics awareness and techniques
· Fencing in full competetive gear
